EXPLANATIONS

USDA zones are zones of minimum winter tempratures, roughly speaking any plant with a number 7 or less is hardy pretty well everywhere in the UK, zone 8 is hardy but some plants may need some protection in particularly cold or exposed places, zone 9 to be grown outdoors only in urban or coastal areas unless given a lot of protection and zone 10, indoors
